Reclamation Reform Act of 1982 (RRA)

The term 'Reclamation Reform Act of 1982 (RRA)' as it applies to the area of reclamation can be defined as ' The Reclamation Reform Act of 1982 limits the amount of owned land that is eligible to receive project (Reclamation) irrigation water and addresses the rate paid for such water delivered to owned and leased land. See acreage limitation. Requires districts that have certain repayment or water service contracts with the United States to develop water conservation plans which include definite goals, appropriate water conservation measures, and a time schedule for meeting the water conservation objectives.
